Vision Boards

My oprah.com vision board
Need a way to be reminded of your goals but don't want to feel like a total loser clipping out pictures of cars and cute haircuts and posting them on the wall of your tiny bed room next to your Justin Beiber poster?
Try an online vision board! I found a really cool one at oprah.com.  You can use preloaded images or ones you have downloaded.  You can pick a theme and even write text on each picture.  Even cooler? You can use in on your stupid iphone and turn it into a your wall paper so you can see it everyday! Here's mine so far:

30 day challenge! New years resolution over haul!

Every once in in a while you get stuck in a rut.  I take that back We often get stuck in  deep deep ruts where things get stagnant and stale for a while. Then all of a sudden you wake up and realize that your dreams are further away , your thighs are a but fluffier, and your home a little more cluttered.
I have gotten to that place recently and decided to do and entire revamp of my life. In, you guessed it, 30 days!
so whats the plan:

1. find a skin care plan that works!
 A.   As most of you know, I have the volatile skin of a pubescent boy who eats crap all day and sucks down soda as though it were going out of style.  I have tried every thing I have ever heard of from Clearasil to hydrochloric acid peals and they have all left me with the same hormonal acne prone skin that I've battle for YEEEEEAAAAARRRS.
B. The plan: "The regimen" from acne.org which basically involve little manipulation, gentle 10 sec washes and a copious amount of Benzoyl peroxide.

2. (the most difficult) Cut down ALL of my belongings down to the bare minimum
 A.   Frankly, I have too much crap.  Period.  I want to get back to the basics of life and have just want I need in order to obtain more clarity , organization and save money .  Bottom line: no more buying unnecessary crap.  Thing are just things.
B. The plan: give away everything I have not used in 6 months.  De clutter closets and cupboards, toys clothes, and everything else I own.

3 Lose those last 10 pounds
A: I think 125 pounds is a good weight for me.  It may be too thin, but I sure as hell am going to get there before I make a decision on whether 130 in a better looking weight.
B: The Plan: clean eating and exercise, less wine/whining! lol

5. School
A. catch up on all school work and give 200% to making efforts to be at the top of my class.
B: The plan: study 3 hours a day (min). Beg for extra credit, and bust my hiny to finish at the top.

6. Kids
A: Work on a more rigid schedule and get the prepared to take over the next grade level like total pimps.
B: create individualized lesson plans and work through summer because who needs a summer break? "aint nobody got time fuh dat!"

7. Nurturing relationships
A.  There are a LOT of people that I have had to leave behind for a plethora of reasons. Whats left are those who were either over looked for the first cut, or people so precious to me, that I must make every effort to hold fast to those friendships/relationships
B. The plan:cut the rest of the dead weight and sincerely make a concerted effort to love on those precious few left.

8. SAVE
A. I'm broke
B. The plan: Must. Save. Money.

9. Finish reading 3 more books
   A and B : self explanatory!

10: Work on my fabulous new Company with my awesome Cousin!
A: I am super excited about our new Venture!
B: the pan: finish logo, cards, website, etsy store, sell some merchandise!

Ok guys! I know that's a lot, but its 30 days right?  If anyone can do it, I certainly can! Pictures and updates to follow daily. Stay tunes y'all! Life changing promises ahead. wait for it. last  day: June 26th is D-day. Starting status on each goal tomorrow!
